12.16.08 - Updates and Stuff
So I'm still alive and well, I've been creating a ton of new music in my studio, otherwise known as my basement, and will be posting some of it soon. My third, or as I like to say tertiary, album will have some hectic performed drum n bass but also some chill grooves that will massage your brain and tickle your spleen. Until then you can now find my existing music on

Also I started a new band, besides Organism (jazz funk), which still performs in the Boston area, this NEW band is called Chaotic Soul, and is a four piece live soul disco funk band performing originals. Check it out here and notice the "subtle" Mashed B influence on Out In Space. ;-)

04.15.08 - 5th Most Added to CMJ RPM/Electronica this week
Zen Conspiracy is the 5th most added album by college radio DJs to the CMJ (College Music Journal) electronica genre! This should mean more rotation and charting next week.

02.05.08 - Zen Conspiracy artwork and video
The new full length album is just about here. The album cover artwork for Zen Conspiracy was created by Peter Kuper who has produced covers for various magazines (Time, Newsweek, etc), not to mention creating all the Spy vs Spy comics for Mad Magazine since 1997. The stenciled painting Kuper created for Zen Conspiracy is the perfect vision of the album's namesake. More of his work at PeterKuper.com
Samples of the music and places to buy will be listed here soon. For now you may check out Four Keys to Zen directly below for three free tracks from the Zen Conspiracy album, or check out this new video which shows the making of the title track from the new album. It's something of a first draft of the tune which is much more fleshed out on the album itself. However much of the percussion and the complete piano solo is on the full album exactly as you see here.

Mashed Buddha releases four tracks online for FREE, three new ones and one from the debut album, check them out here. They represent some of the new concepts I'm exploring for the upcoming full length album Zen Conspiracy, which is a unique dichotomy of more complex beats and simpler big beat dressed up with improvisation as well as layered melodies as is the usual M.O. As promised, the voice of famed guru Uri Geller threatens to put you into a hypnotic coma in the track 'Hype.' I hope you enjoy, and I'll keep you posted about the upcoming full length album which will be released in CD as well as at your favorite online digital music store.

So I joined this great band Organism, and we play instrumental jam acid fusion. Or at least that's what I feel like calling it right now. Also, Mashed Buddha will be releasing FOUR high quality MP3s FREE, three of which will be on the forthcoming album, which has an ETA within this decade. I'm narrowing it down to late spring 2007.
The free tracks however will be out sometime this month, Jan. ONE of the free tracks features guru of all things enlightening and bender of spoons Uri Geller waxing hypnotic over a chill yet driving groove. Have you signed up for the email list?
